    My very first wide screen

    My very first wide screen
I just bought this last week to replace a very old 19 inch analog magnavox in my bedroom that I have had for 14 years. I was originally just looking at various roku models to hook up to my magnavox so that I could stream netflix and you tube movies in bed at night on a bigger screen than my little 10.5 inch Asus Tablet. As usual I glanced at the "what other people bought after viewing this item" section which led me to tvs, and then from there I found this particular TV and it was on sale at the time for an excellent price, and BAM came the impulse buy just as amazon intended by showing that section LOL.I was shocked at how light it is and that I could carry the box upstairs by myself. It was easy to set up and the picture is gorgeous. I'm enjoying being able to stream video from netflix, amazon, and several other apps. I was able to easily connect both my DVR and my region free dvd player within seconds. The sound is a little tinny, not as rich and full and I had hoped. The smart hub is a little glitchy and will not always open when I want it to. Sometimes it just says "starting" but then disappears without opening. If I leave it alone and come back to it an hour or so later it works fine. I don't know why this is and I have contacted the "free tech support" that I am supposed to have for 30 days but not gotten a response. All in all, considering that with the sale price I paid less for this 32 inch smart tv than I paid years ago for my 19 inch magnavox I am satisfied, though I doubt it will last me 14 years.

PROS: I bought this on Black Friday for a pretty deep discount, and it came a lot sooner than I expected it to. It's a great set, and using the specs another user outlined in a previous comment, the picture quality really looks fantastic. I love the smart aspect of it, and since I currently don't have cable service, I've been watching lots of Netflix and streaming Pandora. Also, the audio on this set is SPECTACULAR. It really brings out the bass of songs and movies without being overwhelming, and I presume it'll do the same for video games. And it can get LOUD. I have yet to see what it sounds like at even 25% of its max volume since I haven't ever needed it to get much louder than that, but I bet it'll shake the stars senseless if it ever gets to its maximum (IMAX home theater, anyone?). It's a perfect size for me, and light, and I'm really happy with it. I bought the set primarily as a gaming television, so I'll update this after I bring my PS3 and get some games going on it. At that point, I'll comment on the picture quality and audio of the system and how it works with my gaming setup.

CONS: Like it said in the description, it can connect to the internet, but I swear to whatever non-denominational god there is, if you want to use this function, do yourself a big, big favor and turn your smart phone into a remote or get a wireless keyboard and mouse -- if you try to use the included remote to navigate, the cursor will literally crawl across the screen. Also, since I don't have cable yet, the picture-in-picture shown on the Smart Hub is a tad annoying since right now it's showing the dizzying white blizzard typical of a TV with no channels. I have yet to find out how to disable this while in the Smart Hub, but I'm working on it. Since it's super glossy, it'll also show dust really easily, so you'll have to be after it with the included cleaning cloth pretty frequently to keep it looking sparkly.

But I still rated it a 5 because it's a spectacular TV with some minor, nitpicky flaws that I got for a great price. I'd buy it again too if I had to and I'd definitely recommend it to my friends. And I recommend it to you as well. Go ahead, treat yourself to something amazing. :)

My wife and I bought this TV set as a gift for her mother. Main reason was Netflix and built in WiFi. We knew it was not cutting edge model but it had minimum requirements we were looking for.

Very light device with amazing picture definition and very estable WiFi connection. Set up was a piece of cake and we could try Netflix after 10 minutes. Still have to go trough all features and learn on our on as manual regards solely to TV set.

Only minor thing is the sound, as speakers are not so potent but one can solve that with a hometheater, which is not her mother's case.

Bear in mind it is a full HD TV set with lots of features for less than U$450,00!!!!

      Excellent bargain!!

Well, I am editing this review to add what I suspected but had to try before affirming: some Wireless keyboards and mice will fully function with this TV set. The one I purchased was a Microsoft. All I had to do was to plug the USB adapter on TV side port and "presto"!! Web browsing is now available to my wife's mother, who is 70 and can now browse the internet from the comfort of her bed!! You must get used to a few adjustments in how to opperate it. You use the mouse to click where you want; whenever you want to write use wireless keyboard but, when enetering any website which requires your login and password, "enter" (after inputting login and password) must be done with the mouse. If you are posting something on facebook, for instance, after writting everything you need, press the 'enter' key so that Samsung virtual keyboard will disappear and then use mouse to click on 'post'. This is important hint, because Samsung's virtual keyboard can be covering "post" icon and thus preventing you from posting. Also interesting is the zoom. She uses it in 150% when on facebook website.

This is the way it works with Microsoft Wireless Desktop 800. I don't know how other wireless devices will interact with Samsung 32UNEH5300. However, I guarantee my experience when testing it for my mom's mom (I just don't like calling her mother-in-law) was great!! Some Youtube videos will not be as good as Netflix, but mostly due to the quality they were recorded, web traffic and your download speed. Should this tree be above average and you always choose HD youtube videos, you won't have problems. So, now she uses her Samsung for internet movies, facebook and orkut (farmer game) and she is as happy as can be. And so am I!!!
